Jay S. Ahmad is a cum laude graduate of Albion College where he earned his B.A. in Political Science in 1986. He then took his talents to Nashville, Tennessee where he graduated with his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Vanderbilt University in 1989. Since that time, Jay has been fighting for the rights of injured individuals throughout Michigan, handling complex personal injury matters including medical malpractice, product liability, premises and auto negligence claims.
Mr. Ahmad has extensive trial experience throughout Michigan state courts. Additionally, he is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan as well as the Federal 6th Circuit Court of Appeals. He also sits as a case evaluator in Wayne County and Macomb County, and has been nominated on numerous occasions to sit on personal injury arbitration panels.
In addition to practicing law, Jay is an avid thespian, golfer, table tennis player and collector of sea shells. Mr. Ahmad is married to his wife Stephanie and has four children, Bailey, Madison, Garrett and Ariana.
