As Managing Attorney of Johnson Law, PLC, Jordan Hoyer brings a wealth of experience as Plaintiff’s counsel litigating commercial, financial services and securities disputes.

Jordan was born and raised in beautiful Grand Haven, Michigan. She attended and graduated from Hope College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in both Political Science and Women’s Studies. Jordan then went on to graduate from Western Michigan Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

Previously, Jordan managed the Midwest offices of a national and prominent law firm that prosecuted claims for institutional investors against Wall Street investment banks for losses suffered during the mortgage crisis. Jordan litigated several high-profile residential mortgage-backed securities cases stemming from the financial crisis, most notably: Deutsche Bank National Trust Company v. F.D.I.C., as Receiver, JPMorgan Chase Bank, NA and Washington Mutual Mortgage Securities Corp. and VNB Realty Inc. v. US Bank NA and Wells Fargo.

Jordan also represented class members in the In re: Volkswagen “Clean Diesel” Products Liability Litigation.

In addition to both state and federal courts in Michigan, Jordan has also represented clients in state court, federal court, FINRA arbitrations and facilitative mediation nationwide. In particular, Jordan has represented clients in federal courts in California, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, and South Dakota and in the United Stated Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia.

In her spare time, Jordan is passionate about running, delicious food and traveling the world. She also enjoys staying active, participating in equestrian sports and watching Formula 1 racing.
