Associate Attorney Matthew Ndonwi’s journey began an ocean away, in Bafut, Cameroon. There, he attended Government High School Mbengwi. Matthew then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences from the University of Buea, Cameroon, as well as a PhD in Pharmacological and Physiological Sciences from Saint Louis University. He completed law school at St. Louis University School of Law in 2017.
While studying law, Matthew placed first at the 2017 International Patent Drafting Competition, and second at the 2016 American Bar Association’s Client Counseling Regional Competition. He also received the Wolff Award in Client Counseling, the Academic Excellence Award in Client Counseling, and the Dean’s Graduate Tuition Scholarship Award.
Matthew was awarded the Bar in Missouri in 2017, and in Michigan in 2018.
Before becoming an attorney, Matthew worked as research scientist, publishing over 25 scientific papers.
Prior to joining Johnson Law, Matthew served as an associate attorney at a respected patent prosecution firm.
When not practicing law, Matthew enjoys gardening, cooking, tennis, swimming, and travel.
